First Sunday Mass as Holy Family Parish

Sunday July 6th will be our first Sunday as Holy Family Parish. After the 9:00 am Sung Mass, we will have a potluck in the hall downstairs.

Summer camp

For the last four years a group of volunteers have been putting on Chatechism Camps for the children who attend the FSSP Apostolate in Calgary. They would like to invite those from the FSSP Parish here in Vancouver to attend Camp Pier Giorgio Frassati August 11th to 16th.

High Mass for the Precious Blood

On Tuesday July 1st, Feast of the Precious Blood, we will celebrate the Archbishop’s decree of establishment and our permanent move to Holy Family Church. We will have Solemn High Mass at 10:00 am, followed by food and refreshment in the hall downstairs.

Changes in weekday Mass schedule

Beginning Wednesday July 2nd, our weekday morning masses will be at 7:30 am.

Sunday Mass is at 9 am until November

Fr. Burghardt will continue to offer an 11:00 am German Novus Ordo Mass at Holy Family until November, when he officially retires. Until then, our High Mass will be at 9:00 am, beginning Sunday July 6th, 2008.

Divine Mercy to become Holy Family

On Sunday July 6th, 2008, we become a full-fledged Personal Parish, under the new name of Holy Family Parish, for the "dedicated use of the typical edition of the Roman Missal promulgated by Blessed John XXIII in 1962." Deo Gratias!

We’re moving!

We are moving permanently to Holy Family Church at 4851 Beatrice Street in Vancouver.
Masses in Abbotsford will continue to be held at St Anne’s Church.
