The selection of photographs below, all taken by Benjamin Laggui, show scenes at the Holy Family 60th anniversary Mass, celebrated on Sunday 9 November. As well as celebrating the original establishment of this parish and its decades of care by and for Vancouver’s Catholic German community, this was an opportunity to recognise Father Benno Burghardt’s thirty years of service as pastor of the parish on the occasion of his 75th birthday and retirement. Both Vancouver’s archbishopswere in attendance.
