Deacon Brian McDonnell, of our parish, is to be ordained to the priesthood on Sat May 19, in Lincoln NE, for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. His first Mass at Holy Family will be on Pentecost Sunday, 27 May. Please keep him in your prayers.

2009 FSSP Calendars

Ordo (liturgical) calendars for 2009 from the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter are available at the entrance of the Church for $10 each. This year’s theme is Mary, Our Mother throughout the Ages. Copies of the calendar can also be ordered online, at a slightly higher price, from Fraternity Publications.

Visit of FSSP North American District Superior

Father Eric Flood, North American District Superior of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, will visit Holy Family on Sunday 2 November. An informal reception will take place in the hall after the 9:00 am Mass.

FSSP anniversary Mass

Saturday 18 October marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. High Mass will be offered at 9:00 am for the needs of the clergy and faithful of the FSSP throughout the world.

Seminary Chapel cornerstone to be laid
