The Guild of St. Stephen
The Guild exists for the scheduling and training of the Parish Sung Mass Altar Servers. It is open to any boys, young men, and adults who have received their first Holy Communion. Next to the priesthood, serving at the Altar is the highest privilege a man can enjoy, and all young men are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Sacred Liturgy. While learning the various liturgical roles, the young man also learns the virtues and manners proper to the Christian gentleman. The Guild meets in the Sacristy every first Saturday of the month, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a pizza social in the Parish Hall.
